International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) 2023

The International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) is an annual competition for the world’s most talented chemistry students at the secondary school level. Nations around the world send a team of four students who are tested on their chemistry knowledge and skills in a five-hour laboratory practical exam and a five-hour written theoretical examination. 

For the first time in Switzerland! From 16 - 25 July 2023 more than 800 participants, mentors and volunteers from over 90 countries are expected at the International Chemistry Olympiad 2023. Besides two chemistry exams the young talents will experience a wide range of cultural activities, Swiss business and lifestyle as well as the picturesque landscape of Switzerland.
